Mercy Johnson Okojie is a beautiful, eye-popping and sensational Nigerian Nollywood actress, born on August 28, 1984 in Lagos, Nigeria and hails from Okene in Kogi State, Nigeria. She is known for her outstanding roles in movies which are always memorable to every one. Surprisingly, she featured in a major hit song "Aboki Remix" by Ice Prince where she reiterated the fact that she was married when the influential Ghana born rapper Sarkodie asked her for her hand in marriage in his verse.

The very curvy princess Mercy Johnson married her Prince charming heartthrob Odianosen Okojie in 2011 and they have 3 children together, 2 girls and 1 boy.

She founded the Mercy Johnson Foundation that is aimed at supporting Children and widows who are less fortunate. On December 23rd, 2013, she donated livelihood materials to 5,000 widows in Uromi, her husband’s home area. The materials 
included foodstuff, blankets and Khan-gas. She is hard working, full of empathy and one hundred percent passionate about her talent. 

Right after her secondary education in 2014, she auditioned for a role in ‘the Maid’ a movie that launched her into stardom. Mercy's outstanding performance in that movie paved the way for her into getting more roles in movies such as Hustlers, Baby Oku in America, War in the Palace and many more. She is one of the most sought after Nollywood actresses and has starred in 91 films so far. Mercy Johnson won the 2009 African Film Award for best supporting actress. She has also won the Best Actress award at Africa Magic Viewer's Choice Awards in 2013. By December 2013, Mercy Johnson was listed as Google's Most Searched Nollywood Celebrity, a position she also held in 2012.
